Membership

We welcome members to join as riding and non-riding members over the age of 18. We currently have about 50 members who take part in various disciplines

By joining the South Lammermuir Riding Club you are also becoming a member of British Riding Clubs which covers the whole of the UK. It is divided into areas and we are in Area 1 which covers the south of Scotland from Ayrshire to Berwickshire and up to Edinburgh and Glasgow. There are 24 clubs in Area 1

As a BRC member, you  benefit from a wide range of opportunities and support, including:

  • Access to qualifiers and national championships
  • Access to BRC classes on the E-Riders online dressage platform
  • Member third-party liability insurance during BRC organised activities
  • Rider Magazine (4 issues per year)
  • National retailer discounts and member rewards
  • Access to training opportunities and area activities
  • Support and guidance through your club and area network
  • Access to the BHS Scotland Competition Series Championships held at Scone Palace International Horse Trials.
  • Being part of British Horse Society, providing national advocacy for equestrians, including improving equestrian access and representing riders at government level.

Select South Lammermuir Riding Club which will appear in the drop down box then follow the steps to join us 

 

Your Personal Information

Personal information that you supply to us may be used in a number of ways to facilitate your riding club membership. It should be noted that as we are affiliated to the British Horse Society as a British Riding Club, your personal information will be shared with them in order to fulfil your BRC membership benefits and they may share with associates for the purpose of fulfilling your full membership benefits i.e. insurance providers. We / BRC will automatically contact you about your membership: for example, to ensure you receive your membership benefits, to tell you about news, activities and events. This includes sending you a regular magazine, email updates, information on other membership benefits, and publishing competition times and results in the public domain.
